“As a vet nurse, on a daily-basis I see how the money raised from shops like Bridgwater make a difference when it comes to helping poorly pets. I’d encourage locals to check out the brilliant new shop too and find some bargains and help us provide a lifetime of wellbeing for local pets.”

Shop manager Carolyn Andrejko, said: “It’s been full steam ahead and we’re very excited to be opening a new shop in BrIdgwater.

“We’ve been very busy behind the scenes to get the shop ready and I want to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers who’ve gone the extra mile to help make this happen.

“If you’re having a clear-out or de-cluttering your home why not donate your unwanted items to us? We’re appealing for all types of donations, clothing, homeware, DVDs and books. And every penny we raise will help local sick and injured pets.”
