HUNDREDS of people for one of the highlights in the Taunton calendar.
Thousands of pounds will have been raised for charity at the Taunton Soroptimist Swimathon over the weekend.
The two-day event at Taunton Prep School attracted swimmers of all abilities and ages.
Teams of up to six swam 50 metres in relay for 53 minutes.
Money raised on Saturday and Sunday will be shared by the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, Reminiscence Learning, St Margaret's Hospice and Taunton Opportunity Group.
Every swimmer received a medal and several trophies will be handed out at a presentation evening.
