THE Military Wives Choir is a charity that brings women in the Military community together through singing. The Taunton Military Wives Choir formed in 2013.
The choir have performed in many concerts, recorded a single and several albums with the other choirs in the network and sang on stage with Lulu. Musical director Ed Goater is an opera, oratorio and recording artist. He has performed all over the world, as a soloist and a member of the BBC singers.
More recently, the choir have been passionate about the release of the film Military Wives (released on March 6), which tells the story of how the choirs network was formed. The choir is performing at The Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton on April 15 and 16, alongside a screening.
As the choir grows, they continue to take pride in supporting the Military community.
They rehearse every Monday evening and anyone with a military connection is welcome to attend.
