A DOMESTIC abuser whose sentence was increased by the Court of Appeal is back behind bars.
Police issued an appeal to trace Joshua Dalgarno after a community order he received over the abuse was upgraded to a three-year prison term.
The 25-year-old was regularly violent towards his partner, including stabbing her in the leg with a pen knife.
On another occasion, he smashed her head against a windscreen.
However, after the sentence was upgraded, police issued an appeal to trace Dalgarno.
And after a member of the public saw the appeal, he has been returned to custody.
