A WOMAN has been jailed after assaulting police officers for the third time in six months.

Arrianna King, of Pershore Road, pleaded guilty to assaulting two officers in Basingstoke on February 24, having also beaten another man on the same day.

It comes after she was given a community order last month after assaulting another pair of officers in the town on January 14, and had been found guilty of the same offence in September of last year.

The 33-year-old was sent to prison for seven months for all of the offences and made to pay £125 in compensation.

 

A BASINGSTOKE man has been made to pay more than £600 after admitting to causing damage to vehicles and a further charge of harassment.

Michael Marsh, of Willoughby Way, appeared at Basingstoke magistrates court last week where he faced four charges of damaging vehicles belonging to four different people on August 25, last year. He was also accused of harassing one of the vehicle owners.

The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to the offences and was made to pay £100 in compensation for each of the four charges of causing damage to vehicles.

He was also fined £120 for the harassment charge and made to pay £85 in costs, taking his total bill to £605.

 

A TEEN accused of trespassing in two Basingstoke homes and stealing keys to cars will stand trial at crown court next month.

Aaron Hubbard, of no fixed abode, pleaded not guilty to trespassing at Lundy Close and Coates Close, where he is alleged to have stolen keys to a red Mini Clubman and a Perodua Kelisa. He was also accused of stealing two purses containing £60.

The case was sent for trial at Winchester crown court and is due to take place on June 25.

The 18-year-old also faces another charge of stealing keys to a Mercedes, numerous charges of fraud, said to have been committed in Winchester and Surrey, and the theft of a bicycle in Aldershot.

 

A BASINGSTOKE teen has been referred to a youth offender panel after assaulting someone and being in possession of an “offensive weapon” in the form of a wooden rolling pin.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, assaulted a woman in Overton on April 2, 2019, and on the same day was found in possession of the rolling pin in Station Road.

She pleaded guilty to the offences and was referred to a Hampshire youth offender panel for a contract having effect for 9 months.

 

A DRIVER has been disqualified after she was founding behind the wheel while over the drink driving limit.

Anna Maire Elton, of Tiverton Road, Basingstoke, was driving a white Toyota Aygo in the town after she had been drinking on December 10, last year.

She was found to have 117 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80.

The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence and was banned from driving for 12 months.

She was also fined £310 and made to pays £85 in costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

 

A MAN who drove at 99mph on the M3 near Basingstoke has been fined more than £1,300.

Richard Farley, of Bassein Park Road, in London, was caught speeding in a Mercedes on the motorway near Junction 7, in Dummer, on November 7, last year.

The 51-year-old pleaded guilty via single justice procedure and was made to pay a £131 victim surcharge plus costs of £85.

On top of a fine of £1,312 he faces a total bill of £1,528.
