AS a partner of a NHS worker at Musgrove Park Hospital, I am fully aware of the concerns and worries of staff going daily into work, faced with the drive to support, care for and treat our community who are infected with coronavirus.
And among many things, there is a need to allow NHS staff to attend work and deal with what is happening and is likely to increase over the coming weeks/months, therefore, as a show of goodwill, all car parking charges should be suspended by Q Park as a sign of goodwill but also to help in a small way for those families where only one member if staff is a NHS worker and the other adults have been told they must stay at home, and may not be receiving an income and therefore financially may be struggling.
Isn't this the least that should be done to support our NHS?
