Total Somerset cases rise to 23 - UK death toll nears 600
ANOTHER person in Somerset has been confirmed as having contracted coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to Public Health England.
The total number of cases in the county now stands at 23.
The whole of the UK has had 11,658 recorded cases so far, with 9,782 in England, 894 in Scotland, 741 in Wales and 241 in Northern Ireland.
The nationwide death toll is now 578.
