A GRAVEYARD at a parish church could be extended into neighbouring allotments.
The churchyard at St Andrew's, Wiveliscombe, is running out of space to bury the dead.
Proposals have been drawn up to purchase a plot of land between the existing graveyard and Kingsmead School.
The plans to take on a part of the allotments has been submitted to Somerset West and Taunton Council.
An overflow graveyard came into used several years ago after the main churchyard surrounding St Andrew's became full.
