THE members of a four-piece band have produced an 'isolation video' in a tribute to the NHS.

The musicians from Best Kept Secret, based in Taunton and Wellington, recorded separately before mixing all the parts together.

They've adapted the words to the classic Bryan Ferry song Let's Stick Together (For the NHS) to publicise the Stay Home message.

The band members - Rachael Sweeting, James Hunt, Robert Nash and Robin Clarke - can't rehearse together or play any gigs at the moment due to the coronavirus restrictions.

James and Robert felt it appropriate to dedicate the song to all NHS staff as they both work for Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.

James and his wife Alma are currently thousands of miles away, stuck in the enhanced community quarantine in Manila since mid-March as they were en route to visit family in Tangub City when travel restrictions were imposed.

Robert said: "Fortunately he had a guitar with him which has made the recording possible.

"We released the song on Saturday afternoon (on YouTube) and it’s already had more than 900 views."

He added: "We thought it would be a nice thing to do in the light of all the difficult topics that we deal with each day at the moment.

"We hope people enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it."
