Coronavirus toll rises with latest death in Somerset
A FURTHER coronavirus death was reported in a hospital in Somerset in the 24 hours to 5pm yesterday (Monday).
The death was recorded in Yeovil Hospital.
That means the total of deaths in hospitals in the area covered by Somerset County Council rises to 56.
The county's death toll is comprised of 35 people in the care of Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, which was established through the merger of Somerset Foundation Trust and Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, based at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton; 18 in hospital in Yeovil; and three at Weston General Hospital.
