PUBLIC Health England has revealed the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in each district in Somerset.
A total of 212 have been logged in Somerset West and Taunton; 152 in Sedgemoor; 143 in South Somerset; and 49 in Mendip.
The Somerset West and Taunton figure is for the patch covered by the merged district councils of West Somerset and Taunton Deane.
The total for the county council area of Somerset composed of the four district councils is 556, a rise of seven on yesterday's total.
There have been 57 deaths in the county from Covid-19.
The total across the UK now stands at 206,715, while a total of Covid-19 related 30,615 deaths has been recorded in hospitals, care homes and the community.
Of the individual nations, England has recorded 131,932 cases and 27,432 deaths; Scotland 12,924 (1,703); Wales 10,851 (1,062); and Northern Ireland 3,984 (418).
