PEOPLE from Taunton travelled around 60 miles to visited a beauty spot - despite lockdown.
They were among several people who drove at Portland Bill in Dorset, according to police.
The drive time from Taunton to Portland Bill is more than 90 minutes.
They were all ordered to move on by officers after 14 vehicles were spotted using a car park that has been closed during the crisis.
A spokesman for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "Portland Neighbourhood Police Team would like to remind everyone the car park at Portland Bill remains closed.
"Please remember essential journeys only.
"Fourteen cars earlier asked to move on, some from as far as Taunton, and Southampton."
