A PENSIONER is appealing for help to find a lost bunch of keys that would cost hundreds of pounds to replace.

Alan Debenham, from North Taunton, mislaid the keys during a shopping trip on his bike on the evening of Wednesday, May 6.

Mr Debenham, who had visited the Tesco and Lidl stores in Castle Street, discovered the loss when he arrived home.

The keys include one for a Volkswagen car in a spring-loaded flat rectangular plastic box and another for a Citroen Picasso with a simple plastic bulge.

There was also a small black plastic key for his bike's Poundland cable-lock and a gold tinted Yale-lock key, plus one other.

Mr Debenham said: "I'm amazed that such a substantial bunch has not turned up as yet in either of the two shops, but they could have gone from my pocket while riding my bike into or back from the shops - that is, via Kingston and Station Roads, and Bridge Street, Tangier Way and Castle Street."

If anyone has found the keys or knows anything about them, contact Alan Debenham on 01823 321304.
