THERE was an increase in confirmed new cases of coronavirus in three of the Somerset districts in the latest 24-hour period.
Somerset West and Taunton, Sedgemoor and South Somerset each recorded an additional two confirmed cases.
Mendip remained static again.
The figures relate to the 24 hours up to 5pm yesterday (Saturday).
The total number of cases recorded in the county council area now stands at 695, an increase of six.
Of the four districts, Somerset West and Taunton has had 255 cases (an increase of two); Sedgemoor 194 (up two); South Somerset 183 (a rise of two); and Mendip 63 (no change).
