BURNLEY-BASED Motorpoint is set to re-open all of its branches in England from today.
The UK’s largest independent car retailer, which was recently awarded Platinum status by Feefo for its customer service, will welcome customers through its doors for the first time without an appointment since late March.
Motorpoint has offered free home delivery across England, Scotland and Wales since mid-April, as well as more recently, appointment-only contactless collections for customers in England and Wales.
Mark Carpenter, chief executive officer of Motorpoint, said: “We’re delighted to once again be able to fully open our doors to the public in England following the Prime Minister’s announcement.
“We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes in readiness for this moment, redesigning our processes in order to minimise contact and with it ensure customers and colleagues are COV19-secure at all times. I am sure I speak on behalf of the whole of Motorpoint when I say that we all look forward to welcoming customers, old and new, back into our branches in England and, in the coming weeks, in Scotland and Wales.”
As part of this safeguarding process customers will be able to test drive cars without someone from Motorpoint being present while all vehicle collections will be completed in specially designated areas to guarantee social distancing at all times.
