Police clocked the teenager at 96mph on the M3 near Winchester
A TEENAGER faces a court hearing after being clocked on the M3 at almost 100mph.
A 19-year-old male driver was said to have sped past an unmarked police car on a stretch of the motorway near Winchester on Saturday at 5.41pm.
Officers clocked him driving at an average speed of 96mph. The legal limit is 70mph.
Police noted that the driver had been holding a licence for less than a year.
He will now face a date in court.
