SOMERSET has another clean sheet, with no new confirmed coronavirus cases recorded in the latest 24-hour period.
That makes it seven days out of the last eight when there have been no new cases reported in the county council area by Public Health England.
The county's total number of cases remains at 790 after the latest figures, which are for the period to 5pm yesterday (Tuesday).
That is made up of 65 in Mendip; 221 in Sedgemoor; 307 in Somerset West and Taunton; and 197 in South Somerset.
Earlier, NHS England reported no new Covid-19 related deaths on the county over the same period.
