THIS was the main road on the outskirts of a village following a landslip yesterday (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called to the B3227 just off the Milverton roundabout in the afternoon following heavy rain.
Fire crews from Wellington and Wiveliscombe made the area safe and assisted police with a road closure and traffic management.
Travel Somerset has issued more pictures of the landslip on the Wivelisombe Road at Preston Bowyer.
Teams are currently on site working to clear the debris, but it is estimated it will "likely take several hours".
