Taunton town centre car park to re-open from Monday
A COUNCIL-owned car park in the centre of Taunton is to re-open tomorrow (Monday).
The Orchard multi-storey car park, in Paul Street, has been closed for a period.
But a district council spokesman said it is now safe to open the facility again.
He added that the authority had been working with the Orchard Shopping Centre to enable the car park to be brought back into use.
The spokesman said: "Levels 1 and 1a will open from Monday, with additional disabled parking spaces allocated."
