A PERSON had to be cut free from their car after becoming trapped in following a two-vehicle crash this morning Monday).
Fire crews were called to the incident at Kingsdon, near Somerton, at 10.11am.
Two fire engines and a heavy rescue tender attended.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and rescue Service spokesman said: "On arrival crews confirmed that there was one person still inside the vehicle and set to work to release the casualty.
"Fire crews used equipment to stabilise and successfully extricate the person from the vehicle."
