OPENING: Venezia Italian restaurant in Station Road, Taunton
A TOUCH of Venice comes to Taunton when an Italian restaurant opens in the town this week.
Venezia will serve up its first meals from its premises in Station Road from 5pm on Thursday.
Manager Paolo Verdi said: "We're really looking forward to opening.
"We delayed until Thursday to make sure we had all the Covid-19 safety measures in place."
Venezia is located in the former Maliha Indian restaurant, which relocated earlier this year.
It will be open seven days a week, with lunches from noon to 2.30pm and evening meals from 5pm to 10.30pm or 11pm.
On Sundays it will remain open from noon until 9.30pm.
