TAUNTON Deane Services are currently closed on the northbound side of the M5.
Firefightes are at the scene dealing with a tipper truck "leaking liquid".
The car park and the services are closed.
Police are also at the scene.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Police are dealing with a tipper truck that is leaking liquid at Taunton Deane Services.
"At the moment the car park and services are closed."
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "The northbound Taunton Deane Services on the M5 is closed.
"Drivers can't stop at the services between junctions 26 and 25 while Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service deal with a spillage.
"Police and other agencies are supporting fire colleagues."
The southbound services are not affected.
