I WOULD like to highlight the amazing work that the Somerset and West Taunton Council team do in keeping our parks clean.

I have the privilege of walking in Vivary Park most mornings, a stunning public park which I know is enjoyed by many.

While the park is well served by bins, the gulls redistribute the waste across the park as they scavenge for food.

Each morning I have walked I have seen the council teams collecting this waste and leaving the park spotless.

They always say good morning and are a real credit to Taunton. (If as the general public we can support by perhaps taking our rubbish home to dispose of when we can, maybe this may help).

Without their work, we would not be able to enjoy these open spaces which are so vital now, more than ever.

So to them, thank you, what you do is so appreciated.
