FOLLOWING recent concern across the country that cancer treatments have been postponed during the pandemic, I would like to pay tribute to the staff and management at the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton.
They have continued to provide chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments.
I was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and although at one stage I had some concerns about going to hospital when the pandemic began, I felt totally safe in the Centre and now feel very lucky that I have been able to complete my treatments over the last four months.
