Two new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in two Somerset districts
NEW confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in TWO Somerset districts in the latest 24-hour period.
The positive tests were in Somerset West and Taunton and South Somerset.
There were no coronavirus-related deaths in the county council area in the period to 5pm yesterday (Tuesday).
The two new cases take the total of positive tests in the county to 1,293.
The total number of confirmed cases in each district is: 127 in Mendip; 394 in Sedgemoor; 446 (up one) in Somerset West and Taunton; and 337 (up one) in South Somerset.
