A CAR suffered significant damage after catching fire in Highbridge yesterday (Saturday, August 8).
Firefighters from Burnham-on-Sea were called to the scene in Lockyer Close, Highbridge, at 10am on Saturday morning.
On arrival they found the car well alight, and used a hose reel jet while wearing breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said the fire caused 'significant damage' to the vehicle.
