THE A361 in Devizes is now closed between the town and Bishops Cannings because of an accident which happened about 9.20am.
One car is in a hedge and another on its roof.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “We were called at 9.30am this morning to a road traffic collision on the A361 between Devizes and Bishops Cannings.
“A number of vehicles appear to have been involved and the road is currently blocked while emergency services are in attendance.
“We would ask motorists to find alternative routes.”
