CONTEMPORARY art will be on display at a gallery opening next week.

Heart of The Tribe gallery had to delay their launch in April due to the coronavirus crisis, and so have decided to open on Monday, August 31.

The Glastonbury gallery’s first exhibit, called Diversity, will feature 19 Somerset-based artists and run until November 3.

Kim von Coels, gallery manager, said: “Although it was disappointing to have to delay our opening, it was of course the only option in terms of the safety and wellbeing of our artists, staff and patrons.

“We are more excited than ever to finally be able to launch our first exhibition, and we look forward to seeing local art lovers there.”
