Four new Covid-19 cases confirmed in three Somerset districts
THERE were four positive Covid-19 test results in three Somerset districts in the latest figures.
Two cases were in Mendip, one case was in Sedgemoor and one case was in South Somerset with no new confirmed cases in Somerset West & Taunton.
The total number of coronavirus cases confirmed in the county council area has now risen to 1,402.
There has been a steady rise in cases in recent weeks, largely put down to increased testing.
The district totals stand at Mendip 164; Sedgemoor 415; Somerset West & Taunton 463; and South Somerset 360.
