Three new Covid-19 cases in two Somerset districts
THERE were three positive Covid-19 test results in two Somerset districts in the latest figures.
Two cases were in Somerset West & Taunton and one case was in Mendip with no new confirmed cases in South Somerset and Sedgemoor.
The total number of coronavirus cases confirmed in the county council area has now risen to 1,405.
There has been a steady rise in cases in recent weeks, largely put down to increased testing.
The district totals stand at Mendip 165; Sedgemoor 415; Somerset West & Taunton 465; and South Somerset 360.
