The proposed gym would be at Roughmoor Lane
TWO industrial units on the edge of Taunton could soon be converted into a gym.
Martial arts expert Scott Minall has applied for change of use permission for the proposed facility in Roughmoor Lane, Bishop's Hull.
The unit currently has permission for industrial use (Class B1) and Mr Minall hopes to get the go-ahead to change it to Class D2.
That would allow him to hold one-to-one gym coaching there.
He also plans to put on martial arts classes and yoga.
The application will be considered in due course by planners at Somerset West and Taunton Council.
