A GRIEVING family have released a photograph of a "beautiful, gorgeous, smiley, happy" teenage girl who died after being struck by a train in Somerset.
The family of Esme Berry, 16, who died near Keynsham Station, are requesting privacy as they try to come to terms with their tragic loss.
They say they will not be commenting further.
Following the incident at lunchtime on Monday, August 31, Esme's mother, Vicky Berry, posted on Facebook: "With a shattered broken heart I must announce the sudden passing of my beautiful gorgeous smiley happy daughter Esme Berry."
Vicky described Esme as "the most beautiful, happy, talented, stunning girl" who was "always friendly, kind caring loving and sweet".
Esme's death is not being treated as suspicious.
