RAISED and educated locally, Katie Cross began her estate agency career with a large corporate firm in Taunton.

Now, after a successful spell selling high-end properties in the competitive London market, she has returned to her hometown to work as residential sales manager in the Taunton office of Greenslade Taylor Hunt.

“The job was too good to miss,” said Katie, who was lured back to Taunton by the offer of heading up GTH’s landmark office in the town’s Hammet Street.

She was educated at Queens College in the town and started her property career with a large corporate estate agency in Taunton.

She quickly rose through the ranks and was swiftly promoted to branch manager overseeing the sales of second hand and new residential homes.

With her career established she moved to London where she focussed on premium properties.

However, the appeal of the Westcountry and the opportunity to work for one of the region’s longest established and respected property partnerships drew her back to Taunton.

She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the GTH Taunton residential office, second hand and new homes valuations, viewings, negotiating offers and seeing sales through to a satisfactory completion.

Katie’s main focus is to deliver the best level of customer service and to exceed clients expectations.

Since joining GTH only eight weeks ago Katie has been responsible for 57 new instructions from village houses to town properties.

“The market is fantastic at the moment,” she said.
