THE Range in Bridgwater will soon be home to a new Iceland within the store.

The company has been busy making changes to its layout so that from Friday, October 9, shoppers will be able to purchase a wealth of frozen goods as well as fresh fruit and veg, dairy and meat products, and various store cupboard staples.

This new Iceland section is in addition to The Range's 16 departments which includes a garden centre and a cafe.

The Iceland launch at The Range in Bridgwater follows a strategic alliance formed in August 2018.

Owner and founder of The Range, Chris Dawson, said: “The Range’s massive non-food selection combined with Iceland’s unique food offering will provide customers with all their everyday essentials under one roof.

"I think our customers will be surprised and delighted to view the extent and quality of Iceland’s food selection when we launch in Bridgwater next month."

Changes have also been made to other departments around the store to make it easier for customers to shop.

Mr Dawson added: "In line with current Government guidelines, additional measures are in-place to make it safe for staff and customers. These include social distancing markers to help people stay a safe distance apart, sanitising stations at the entrance and contactless card payment where possible."

The Range store on Bristol Road in Bridgwater is open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm, and Sundays from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
