Firefighters called to tackle car fire on M5 southbound
FIREFIGHTERS were called to the M5 near Taunton to tackle a car fire.
Two fire engines from Taunton were called to the M5 Southbound between J25 and J26 at 3pm today (September 20) to reports of a car fire.
On arrival crews confirmed there was a small fire in the engine bay which was extinguished with one hose reel jet.
The cause of the fire was accidental, and crews left duty of care with the Highways Agency.
