THE show must go on at a Taunton theatre this Christmas... so they have decided to team up with Reamba Productions to create a one-off show this December.

The Show Will Go On brings together Reamba Productions members as well as some of Somerset’s amateur dramatic organisations.

The show will be performed at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre in Taunton.

There will also be sneak-peeks of the shows planned for next year by groups such as Yeovil Amateur Operatic Society (YAOS), Bridgwater Operatic Society (BOS) and Yeovil Amateur Pantomime Society (YAPS).

Jess Stephens, artistic director of Reamba Productions said: “We’re delighted to be able to come together this Christmas with the fantastic Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre. What better than to unite with some of Somerset’s best amateur dramatics companies, all doing what we love best! Come and celebrate theatre with us all this December.”

The show will also feature songs from a brand new musical written by performer Ashleigh Payne, T.F.A The Art of Being Normal.

Centre director of Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre, Andy Pulleyn said: “We’re so pleased that Reamba Productions have been able to put together a show that will bring some much needed festive cheer for our audiences.

“It will be a great opportunity for people to once again enjoy the delight that is live theatre. And it will be a great way for people to support local theatre in their area.

“Our events follow all of the Government guidance to make us a Covid-secure venue, so we hope people will join us for this Christmas treat of a show.”

The event is being held to support both the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre and Reamba Productions after the annual pantomime was cancelled.

All proceeds from The Show Will Go On will be split between the organisations.

It will be performed on Saturday, December 12 with a matinee at 2.30pm and an evening performance at 7.30pm. To book visit
