The closure wil llast ten days
A STRETCH of a busy road into the centre of Taunton will be closed to traffic for a period of ten days.
Somerset County Council has put up signs informing drivers of the closure on Station Road from Monday, October 26.
During the period traffic is barred from the section of road, workers will carry out "essential drainage work" at the junction of Station Road and Belvedere Road.
The road closure will impact on drivers from both directions, with traffic diverted.
The work is being undertaken by Skanska on behalf of the county council.
The closure will be lifted once the work is completed on Friday, November 6
