A PERSON in Taunton has scooped a cool £30,000 in the People's Postcode Lottery.
But the shy winner has plumped to remain anonymous.
The windfall prize has gone to a resident of Southwood Grove after their postcode TA1 5NX came up today (Friday, October 16).
They were awarded the daily £30,000 prize.
The cash is shared between all the players in the particular postcode. As the only player in their street, the TA1 5NX winner gets to keep the lot.
People's Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson said: "The Taunton winner chose to remain anonymous, but the prize will be paid into their bank account."
He added: "I’m over the moon for our winner in Taunton.
"A big congratulations to them.
"I hope they celebrate today and enjoy spending the cash."
