STORM Barbara's heavy rains have flooded a shop in Taunton today (October 21).
Specsavers on East Street have had to close their store to dry out the ground floor, after it flooded.
A team are currently mopping up the water and they hope to reopen again tomorrow.
A spokesperson for Specsavers said: "Specsavers in Taunton has closed after the ground floor flooded, following heavy rain last night.
"A team are currently cleaning up and drying out the store.

"The directors hope it will reopen tomorrow.
"If they can’t dry the store in time then it will remain closed, but hopefully it would not be for more than another day.
"The store team have contacted all the customers who were booked in today to rearrange their appointments."
