THE body of teenager has been found on a Taunton building site.
The young girl was found on the site of the former Lidl supermarket, in Wood Street, at around 6.30pm on Sunday (October 25).
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "At 6.30pm yesterday the body of a teenage girl was found at a building site on Wood Street, Taunton.
“Inquiries into the circumstances of her death are ongoing but at this stage we do not believe it to be suspicious.
“Our thoughts are with the girl’s family at this sad time”
The Lidl store on the site closed in 2015 and the building demolished.

In March last year, approval was given for a 72-apartment retirement development on the plot.
Work was halted at the site earlier this year due to the coronavirus crisis, with a date to restart not yet revealed.
