A WOMAN was freed from wreckage after a car crash this afternoon.
Firefighters from Shepton Mallet and Paulton, along with a rescue vehicle from Glastonbury, were sent to Stratton Road, Holcombe, at just after 1.20pm to reports of a crash.
A spokesperson for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival crews confirmed that the incident involved two vehicles and that one person was trapped.
"Fire crews released one female person using hydraulic rescue equipment and she was taken into the care of the Ambulance Service.
"Fire crews made the vehicles and scene safe."
