A SCHOOL in Taunton has helped the homeless this month - thanks to their harvest festival donations.
Junior School pupils held their annual harvest festival at Queens College in Taunton.
Students bought items of food which were later collected by representatives from Arc – formerly Taunton Association for the Homeless.
Although the usual festival service could not take place due to Covid-19 restrictions, the pupils still enjoyed their day.
A socially-distanced film was made during the festival, including readings and songs, which was broadcast across the school and sent to parents.
A spokesperson for Arc said: “A huge thank-you for the very kind donations from Queen’s.
“They will make a big difference to the homeless people we support.”
