A VILLAGE in Somerset has been named tenth best place to live in the UK if you work from home.

When the coronavirus crisis took hold earlier this year, many of us were asked to work remotely – and still do.

But if you live in Nunney, near Frome, this could be a dream come true.

According to research by Emoov, an online estate agent, Nunney is the tenth best village for remote working in the UK.

A spokesperson from Emoov said: “Nunney is a beautiful village with historic interest. At the centre, you can visit the ruin of medieval Nunney Castle.

“The best way to explore Nunney is via a village trail available from Frome tourist information centre.

“The main points of interest include the Parish Church and The George, an old character coaching inn.”

The research is based on elements that matter most to remote workers, including:

1. Distance to town/city (miles)

2. Commute cost saved per day via car return

3. Average house prices APP/value

4. Homes with a garden

5. Homes with three or more bedrooms

6. Homes with an office space

7. Things to do

8. Off-road parking space e.g. drive

9. Internet connectivity
