POLICE are continuing to investigate after a construction worker was injured in a fall from scaffolding in Taunton.
The man, who has not been named, was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
The Health and Safety Executive has been informed of the incident in Plais Street at about 5.20pm yesterday (Thursday).
Police assisted ambulance and fire crews at the scene off Priorswood Road.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "At about 5.20pm yesterday (Thursday 29 October) police were called to assist the ambulance and fire service at a construction site on Plais Street, Taunton, after a construction worker fell from scaffolding.
"The man was taken to hospital with injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing and HSE have been advised."
