MORE than 50 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed across four Somerset districts.
In Mendip, Sedgemoor, Somerset West and Taunton and South Somerset, 60 more cases of Covid-19 have been recorded up until today (November 8).
Sedgemoor recorded 21 new confirmed cases and there were 13 positive tests in Somerset West and Taunton.
In South Somerset there were 22 confirmed cases and in Mendip there were 4 positive tests.
The totals for each district now stand at Mendip 562; Sedgemoor 966; SWT 1,075; South Somerset 859.
