A MAN has died after a crash near a Somerset village.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the single-vehicle incident on the A362 at Buckland Dinham, near Frome, on Saturday (November 7) in which a man was tragically killed.
The fatal crash happened at around 6.30pm, and police are appealing for anyone who saw the incident, or has dashcam footage, to come forward.
"The male driver of a silver SUV was sadly pronounced dead at the scene," a spokesperson said.
"No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
"The man has not yet been formally identified but the next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them."
