A SHED has been completely destroyed after a fire broke out in Shepton Mallet this morning (November 17).
Three crews extinguished the fire at Home Fields, but it also caused damage to a neighbouring shed and garage.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "Two crews from Shepton Mallet and Castle Cary were mobilised to multiple reports of smoke and flames coming from a shed at Home Fields, Shepton Mallet at 8.25am.
"Upon arrival the crews confirmed that the shed was well alight, and requested the attendance of a third crew, which was mobilised from Wells.
"Crews used three hose reels and two thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the fire.
"The shed was completely destroyed, and there was also damage to a neighbouring shed and garage."
