POLICE were called to rescue a kitten after it wandered onto a motorway junction on the edge of Taunton.
Officers rescued the little cat at Junction 25 of the M5 yesterday night (Wednesday).
It was recovered and taken to a nearby vets.
PCSO Supervisor Sam Bushen said: "The owner has not been identified yet and the kitten is not microchipped."
He has appealed for anyone with information to call Taunton Police on 101 quoting reference AS-20201118-0969.
