POLICE swooped on a home in Taunton last night (Thursday) following a tip off from the public.

Officers attended the property in Churchill Way at around 7.30pm.

They arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a class A drug.

The man has been released under investigation and officers are continuing their enquiries.

A member of the public said there were four police cars and a police van at the scene during the operation.
