A DRIVER involved in a two-vehicle crash just outside Taunton is in a "serious but stable condition".
The collision closed the A358 at Thornfalcon for 11 hours between 5pm yesterday (Thursday) and 4am this morning.
Police, firefighters and paramedics attended the incident and both drivers received treatment.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "A man, in his 30s is in a serious, but stable, condition in hospital.
"The other driver, a man in his 50s, is not believed to have sustained life-threatening or life-changing injuries."
Collision investigators attended the scene yesterday and police are continuing their enquiries.
